Detmold Medical Masks delivered to SA Health

After rapidly establishing our face mask manufacturing facility to protect frontline healthcare workers, today Detmold Medical delivered the first order of L3 face masks to SA Health.

With an increased need for personal protective equipment during the coronavirus health crisis, the Detmold Group set up for local production of face masks in record time.

With a current 17 machines at the plant and three more on the way next month, there are now 84 Detmold Medical employees based onsite, with plans to grow the workforce to 160 employees by the end of July.

For the Detmold Group, the food-packaging company-turned-Australia’s largest manufacturer of face masks has established its new division in Detmold Medical and been working at full-speed since March, embracing an opportunity to support Australia’s response to COVID-19.
