What do the ‘D‘ and ‘N’ mean in your face mask names?
The ‘D’ in ‘D95’ stands for ‘Detmold’ and refers to our type of P2 Respirator Face Mask, which has a better than 95% particulate filtration performance. The ‘N’ in ‘N95’ refers to the NIOSH Standard (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health), to which the N95 Surgical Respirator Mask complies. ‘N’ rated masks are not resistant to oil.
